Thank you for visiting this website and for your interest in the emerging development proposals for residential development at Land north of Lambs Hill Drove, March. The site forms part of the South East March allocation for residential development in the adopted Local Plan and was included in the Broad Concept Plan for the allocation approved by Fenland District Council in June 2023.

 

Cannon Kirk Homes are preparing an outline planning application and would welcome your thoughts on the emerging proposals to help further shape the plans and inform ongoing technical work.

The Site

The site is currently agricultural land and lies immediately to the north of Lambs Hill Drove. The siting of residential development within the red line area shown above is over 300m east of the rear of properties which front Wimblington Road and those which front Lambs Hill Drove. The residential parcel of the site is rectangular in shape with the narrow sides of the rectangle to the north and south.

 

The site area also includes a corridor of land for the purposes of connecting the development to the adopted highway at Wimblington Road. At the northern end of the corridor (40 Wimblington Road) lies paddock land and an existing dwelling with associated out buildings.
